Mich

So its suppose to be spring but this morning the weather decided to snow, I'm not complaining because i love snow and was pissed off when we didn't get any in winter. I would have liked a bit more snow but i'll take what i can get.
So my mother and I went for a walk over to her allotment to take some photos of snow:

Spiffy Sunrise yesterday, I'm liking these brighter mornings

Not been able to any decent art at the mo but i can doodle!

Bought myself some marker pens or felt tips, called Tombow ABt, very spiffy and expensive so i can only buy a couple of colours at a time :) As you can see i got some greens.

Had some very kool ideas for some paintings today so i think my muse has returned so hopefully this week i shall be able to paint!

Well i started this last night and finished it this morning, around 5 hours spent on it.

Pretty kool, especially as i have been getting up earlier so i can see them.

Anyway the sore throat is starting to subside, which i am very happy about and so i am looking forward to being better and being able to sit at my desk and do some proper paintings instead of doodles. Like these:

Right now back to my Vodka and Orange Juice

Ugh Monday? when did that happen? means i have to go to work tonight, hooray. Well seeing as i am awake and do not have the compelling need to fall back to sleep i suppose i should use this energy and channel it into some art. Yep that is the plan, lots of art.

Maybe play around with some silver leaf, or my silk paints or just practice dragons some more. ho hum.

So my first public journal since i started on here two years ago, hmm. I've decided that in an attempt at getting my art out there i am going to keep this as an art journal, so i will be posting random sketches and finished painting and the like here, before my Deviant Art page http://dragonsdust.deviantart.com

So something i sketched up yesterday is my zodiac dragon Aquarius:


So Aquarius is a represented by the water carrier so that is why he's holding jugs of water, its also an air sign so that is why he is flying and painted white (suppose to be), I know the hands holding the jug are crap, but it was around the 7th time i had drawn them and i had stupidly started drawing on the watercolour paper before i had finished working on the design and the paper was starting to get crap so i left it. Also the perspective is off, i cant draw perspective properly *hangs head in shame* and there probably loads of other things wrong.

Well this is something different, lets see how long it takes before I forget about this lol

Nothing really spectaculalry wonderful to say gonna play around and explore this a bit more.
